Oakley Contributes Money for Autism

One eyewear designer is doing something more extraordinary than just create fashionable and superior-quality sunglasses. Oakley, famous for producing top-of-the-line goggles and Oakley sunglasses, has decided to partner with ‘Talk About Curing Autism’ (TACA) – a charitable organization that provides information, support, and resources to familieAdd Images that are affected with the condition.

Oakley has made a deal with TACA that it would donate $20 per purchase of each of its 2 latest designs of eyewear which are remodeled to become the specially designed TACA Oakley Ravishing and TACA Oakley fuel cell.

Oakley’s Vice President of global sports marketing, Pat McIlvain, spoke about the company’s partnership with TACA in a press release.

According to him, he is honored to collaborate with TACA, and play a part in sending the message of hope amongst those who are affected with Autism. The two TACA sunglasses edition would promote awareness, plus, they are gratified to donate $20 from each eyewear sale. They are proud to assist TACA in its mission to help autistic children reach their true potential.

The Fuel Cell design for men and Ravishing design for women have a puzzle-inspired design symbolizing that the puzzle of autism can be solved. Each package of the TACA eyewear includes a puzzle piece that is shaped in a TACA logo and has a wearable pin.

According to TACA’s executive director, Lisa Ackerman, Oakley brings a powerful impact in promoting awareness regarding autism, and in helping the organization with their mission to support the autism-stricken community. Furthermore, she said that they are grateful for the brand’s support.
