Justin Timberlake was seen strolling along the streets of Manhattan on Thursday, February 18. The former member of N-Sync was photographed wearing a red beanie and a pair of blue-colored Ray-Ban sunglasses as he headed towards his New York apartment.
The pop star and actor is currently in New York City to promote one of his latest endeavors: fashion designing. Just recently, his clothing line, William Rast, had a showcase of its designs during the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week via a William Rast fashion show.
According to some sources, Timberlake made sure that his prima donna behavior was felt during the entire event by exhibiting an aura of high maintenance. He even made everyone in the show sign an agreement that prohibited them to gossip about him.
In 2005, Timberlake started the William Rust clothing line with his childhood buddy Juan “Trace” Ayala. In 2007, the clothing line started selling its own designs of cashmere sweaters, cord jackets, jeans and polo shirts. The duo said that their clothing designs are inspired by the late cultural icon, Elvis Presley, who also grew up in Memphis like them. According to Juan Ayala, ‘the King’ was the perfect example of the combination between his fashion sense and Timberlake’s. He said that Elvis could be seen wearing cowboy hats and boots with a button down-shirt, then again, he could also be seen wearing a tuxedo and a collared shirt with rhinestones embroidered on them. Timberlake and Ayala like to conceptualize on what Elvis would be wearing if he were still alive.
